15 Students from Barnfield Construction College, Luton visited the Butterfield and Business Technology Park as part of their CLAC programme. The CLAC programme offers pupils the chance to gain a taste of ‘real work’ in a supported way, and to lay the foundations for a post 16 apprenticeship whilst retaining the full range of other options for future training and study.
Michael Forster of Easter group provided the year 11 construction young apprentices with a talk around the site model followed by a presentation, detailing the environmental design and responsibility to construction opportunities throughout this project. The students also visited the 90,000 sq.ft MTL international head office, which is near completion.
